Hotel was clean, comfortable, and staff helpful. Also the hotel is close to the airport which made it a good place to stay the night before our flight home.
The street we had to drive on to get to the hotel is very narrow and the hotel parking is limited and a tight fit for the VW oassat we rented.
I stayed in this hotel one night, just after my arrival to Madrid, as it was close to the airport. It is a cheap hotel, conveniently located, just a bus drive from barajas airport (line 105 or 115). There is also a metro station just a short walk away. The staff was very kind and helpful, the woman at the reception desk gave me all the necessary information I wanted. She also equipped me with an umbrella when it was raining! Small hotel but really nice, for people without high expectations. Not a hotel for a week' stay but worth recommending for somebody who wants to stay close to the airport to catch an early plane from Barajas.
it was cosy for a day but the location wasnt suited for a long period but over night it was ok. the room was ok .
free internet, and the staff was good.
Very comfortable, helpful staff at all the times.
Taxi from , and to airport was more expensie than hotel. They cash me 20 and 26Euro !!! for 3 km !!!!!!!!!!!!!1
good to take a break after a late bus from pamplona, and the reception is nice
The location. It is close to the airport,or central Madrid by either bus or metro. Barajas square is less than 50 metres away, and is like a small village with many shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is ideal for a visit to Madrid, highly recommended.
Hotel is walking distance from the airport (20 minutes from terminal 1) and located in a village setting so is a relief from the airport. The hotel is modern and provides all you need to overnight between flights. You could use as a base for visiting Madrid but it is a little far out.
Good location and parking on-site. Just a quick over night stop to drop my mother off at the airport the next morning. Excellent price for the two rooms we booked and close to places to eat and drink. Also, bus stop for the 101 is around the corner and its only a 1.50 euro to get to the airport, which took about 7 minutes.
Got warm in the evening, air conditioning worked, but did not cool as much as I prefer.
Great location, just at the exit from the Barajas Airport (you can literally walk for 10-15min directly to the hotel. Just take the exit from T2 parking over the blue passerelle to get to Barajas District.) You are very well connected to the CityCenter from Barajas Metro Station. Just 20min to Nuevo Ministerios. The stuff is nice and polite.
Excellent location, within less than 10 mins drive of airport. €5 parking in hotel garage very convenient. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Quite a small room but perfectly adequate for an overnight, with a good bathroom and at a good value rate. Although the hotel has no public rooms or facilities, it is only 50m from the plaza itself, where there are numerous good and reasonably priced restaurants and bars. Perfect for arrival on an evening flight: we were sitting down to dinner 40 mins after flight arrival time!
Nothing at all!
The hotel is situated in a lovely area close to Baraja-Airport. Though the little distance to Barajas-Airport there are no serious noise-interferences by planes, nor traffic-harrassement. The personal was really lovely and caring and the rooms made me spent a comfortbale time in Madrid.
convieniently located near the airport, free internet and the staff is super cool. the bus to the airport is 1.50 euros and its just as easy to catch a bus into town or the center. It is more than a bargain for the price. Everything is clean and new and even though the rooms are small they are clean and come with ammenities. HIGHLY reccommend this hotel.
No fridge in the rooms. but they will put stuff in the hotel fridge for you if you ask.
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and close to the metrostation Barajas. The center of Madrid is easily reached by metro, as well as the airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In view of the low price, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The reception is open for 24 hours a day, which is convenient for late arrivals and early departures. The hotel is located in a quiet street.
Although the staff is very friendly and helpful, few of them speak any English. Throughout the hotel the floor is made of tiles, which might be cool in summer, but is rather noisy. The sound of ladies in high heels seems to carry throughout the hotel. However, during our stay there were no noisy guests, so one should not overstress this minor point.
Hotel Barajas Plaza is a good choice for accommodation near Madrid Airport. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard. It is small but comfortable. Staff were very attentive and helpful even though we only spent one night there before catching a plane the following day. Access is by a short walk about 500m from Barajas Metro station. Barajas is between Terminals 1,2 and 3 and Terminal 4 stations, so only a short journey to the airport. Remember that a 1 Euro supplement ticket (or Combo) is required to enter airport. The hotel has no dining room, but several restaurants and bars are close by in Barajas Plaza. Continental breakfast (3 Euros) is available by pre booking for room service or at a small seated area beside the kitchen. It is strange to think that you are actually in Madrid as Barajas has the feel of a small village.
